So, what is a Reiki Healing Session? Reiki causes you to slow down, sit still, gather yourself. A Reiki healing session usually takes about an hour. During the session you will either be in a sitting position or laying down in a comfortable position. The practitioner may lay their hands on you in certain areas and there will normally be soft music playing in the background. Long story short, you will be at rest and relaxation during the session. Your energy will be drawn back into your body, balancing, and allowing healing to occur.
You may see lights, colors, and images during your session. Some have reported feeling warmth, vibration and some just fall asleep on the table. It really is different for everyone. Your Reiki Session will be as individual as you are. The main thing is to just allow; allow the energy to flow, allow the healing to take place; just let go and allow. Isn’t that what we all need a little more of? Letting go? Even if just for a short while it can be incredibly healing to just let go.
